50 years ago Charlton Heston and Marlon Brando were marching for racial equality in Alabama, among other places. You want to talk about jeopardizing a career to make a stand? The most memorable thing Jim Carrey has done?
Never forget that Carrey supported and promoted the anti-vaccine movement that has resulted in 1/10 children not being vaccinated in the US currently.
Are they, though? I mean, Ace Ventura was funny, and so was Dumb and Dumber, but I can't think of anything decent he's been in since other than Man on the Moon.
Just speaking for myself, I'm a fan of Dumb and Dumber, Ace Ventura, Liar Liar, The Cable Guy, The Truman Show, Me, Myself and Irene, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Mask, and I Love You Phillip Morris.
Dumb and Dumber, Liar Liar... Carrey always plays an idiot or shallow and dishonest personality because to play something other than himself would require "acting skills". Sam Eliot and Charleton Heston's family have a much better chance of successfully suing Carrey than he has of suing Fox. Quite possibly the 2 worst impressions I have ever seen, and with his money he really should have hired a professional to write the skit.
You do realize he was a comedian well before he was an actor. He just realized it was an avenue to get wealthy and famous
Yes, but nobody would know it from that horrible skit. I suspect he owes most of the credit for his fame and fortune to scriptwriters and joke writers.
Eternal sunshine is one of my favorite movies how that corrolates to his political views I'm not sure
He was a physical comedian...I'm sure the writers had a lot to do with his facial expressions and gangly frame
