We hear all this cancer talk, and I agree, he can't lead a team to the playoffs and beyond. But honestly, he is an amazing basketball player, he has as much talent as any point guard in the league. People take that away from him in the cancer talks. Whats your take?

You're acting like this cancer talk is nothing, he can't work well with a team, and if you can't get backup from your team there's not much you can do. His talent which is large, I agree with you, is wasted by his attitude. He is a great bball player, but I would never consider him underrated.

Marbury is a proven cancer. I don't see that as being underrated. Every team he leaves gets better and every team he comes to gets worse. For example the Knicks and the Suns.

He has all the talent he needs, but he just can't translate that into a team situation and win ball games. He has a great combination of speed and strength, and uses it correctly for HIS benefit, but once again fails to lead his team to success.I guess I might be a little too hard on him though. I mean, he has helped every team he has been with... by leaving them.

If he was about 5-6 inches taller he would be an elite 2. He has the ball way too much!

Still all this overrated talk is making him underrated. He is never injured (A bad thing?) and he is very talented. I know he can't help a team win, but everyone knows he is a cancer.

^^^ Francis....I think Marbury was lost from the moment he left Min...I to this day think tthat KG and Starbury would have made a lot of noise if they stayed together, but apart they both seem to have something lacking from they're basketball lives...as if the B-all gods made a plam amd somehow it went wrong.Bit of a strange comment I know, but somehow talk of Marbury always brings this thought to the front of my mind.

No. Starbury would have thrown a hissy fit because he isn't the focus. He has a huge amount of talent but that means NOTHING unless he can learn to WIN. People underestimate that. You have to know HOW to win to be a winner!!! Starbury has losing down to an art form, thus he's a loser!

Kareem learnt How to win!!!! What has starbury done?? He doesn't know how to win!! Your a punk! what does that post actually say? Are you saying that because Starbury has lost so much that he will start winning now? NO I think you've got no idea.
