I think that has more to do with his age and rawness. He has come farther along than I anticipated.

Terrible D factors (in no particular order of importance)
    a. Coaching and game planning
    b. Players (defense begins with the supposed leaders on the team and they should be expecting it from the younger guys)
    c. No bench, extended minutes, and potentially body breakdown by season's end

Obviously our defense sucked overall and it was like that since the beginning of the season. C is not as much of a factor as A and B.

First, Stotts needs to have control over his staff and fix the "eff-up" with the Defensive coordinator position.

Next, ask the supposed leaders of the team to man up and play defense. Show and expect the younger guys to follow.

Our team will have the entire summer to correct the horrible defense or at least begin the process.

No real bench, so the starters have to coast some of the time.

Playing a PF out of position at C.

PG is a sieve. He'll get better.

It makes you wonder what this team would be like with a defensive coach. You know, like Nate McMillan?

The last year we had so many rookies on our team. 2006-2007 our defensive rank was 109.9 (26 of 30)
This year our defensive rank is 108.8 (25 of 30)

Seems like a better job to me

Nate would be a GREAT assistant coach. Just not a good head coach.
