They demand $15/hr. Is this fair? http://money.cnn.com/2013/04/04/news/companies/fast-food-new-york-strike/index.html?source=cnn_bin
Maybe the minimum wage should be tied to the cost of living for each city. For NYC, perhaps $15/hr is reasonable. For El Paso, $1.75/hr is probably reasonable...
You are taking it to the extreme but I think this maybe something to look into. It could be a solution. Probably one that won't appeal to everyone though (nothing does).
Wookiees aren't allowed top work in the food service industry, nobody's ever come up with a cost-effective back-hair net. Plus, Roast Ewok is an acquired taste...
We are already seeing that Obamacare is going to subatantially mnore costly than presented to us. What a mess.
well, considering they're working at fast food..they're not really trying. you have to try to move up from that. it should be temporary work since its basically low pay, lot of work, etc.
Exactly. It kills me how many professions people want year to year raises above inflation when the skill to perform that job has not changed or has been reduced with technology. They then bitch when the price of anything changes.
