Houston has something for which to play. We don't. You can tell the difference in defensive intensity.
Why start this thread and post this? You've known since the middle of OCTOBER that we have 5 decent players...... and tonight we are missing one of them..... what did you expect?
I don't mind the losses, but I'm hating the blowouts. And quite a few guys definitely have checked out already. Good on Wessy to call em out. Why isn't LA doing that? Obviously his leading by example thing isn't working out.
Too bad Matthews completely sucked last night. The dude is so slow. Linn and Harden blowing right by him all night. Same with Dame (but hes a rook, so I give his defensive ability lee-way). nobody could make shots besides LA; and Dame was way to passive. However it didn't help that when he did drive he was mobbed because the D collapsed since they didn't have to guard our sorry excuse for shooters... Hopefully they turn this around for the fans. b/c that was just terrible to watch.
At least LA led by example. He played well last night. Wes on the other hand was playing hard, but he was not playing smart. Clearing everyone out to go one on one with Hardin, and then throwing up an air ball on a drive to the basket....that was painful to watch. Wes, you are not a one-on-one type player and going 1-11 on the 3pt shots, if that was Babbitt we would have 5 threads about how bad he sucks. I like Wes and I like his fire, but unless he plays well it is hard to call people out. His man had 33 pts.....
You chose 1 example of 1 game and the Lakers have had major injuries to key players, try again. Sent from HCPs Baller-Ass iPhone 5...FAMS!
Season is over, didn't you guys get the memo? Last game to be played with any enthusiasm will be vs LA.
Well that should be enough, because you said "never". And the Lakers have actually played worse with all their stars than when one or more is injured. Also: see Detroit's title over the Shaq-Kobe-Payton Lakers.
