It's kind of amazing how many ex-Blazers are playing (relatively) well.
    There's Zach, of course
    We drafted Omer Asik
Jarrett Jack was a contender for sixth man of the year for a while
Jamal Crawford still is a contender
Dante's emerged as a good rotation player in Minny
Bayless is actually being useful in Memphis
    Felton's starting for a Knicks team that's won 12 in a row
Andre's on a surging Nuggets team
And here's the kicker: Shavlick Randolph is featured in a highlight for the Celtics right now. Anyone obvious I've overlooked?

Hasheem Thabeet. First guy they call when a light bulb needs changing in the OKC locker room.

Gerald Wallace. He's not playing that great but he's starting on a playoff team with HCA in the first round.

McBob, plus probably a few dead bodies on Miami's bench.

    That's right - McRoberts. I knew I was forgetting some scrub-for-us-turned-contributor-elsewhere.
I guess Steve Blake was starting for a while for the Lakers and actually playing half decent.

Good call - although he's not shooting too great (under 34% the past ten games), he is playing nearly 30 mpg for a surging Wizards team.

Of them all (not counting Asik who never played for us) I think I'd most like Jack and/or Dre back.

James Jones is still on the Miami Heat.

If you count Asik, didn't we own Brandon Rush for 5 milliseconds?

Don't forget Paul Milsap, Roy Hibbert, and Hedo Turkoglu. We almost had them.

Funny, because except for Daunte and Andre, I think many on this board were calling for management to trade all these players.

Would Zach, Jack, Andre, and Bayless still be around if Roy had liked them?

Would the team have wasted their time on Crawford and Felton if Roy hadn't imploded?

He did like Jack. Nobody liked Bayless. And Zach had to go. Zach would not be the player he is now if he hadn't been chastened by bouncing around the league. Maybe Andre was Roy's fault, but I bet it was more Nate's.

From tonight's HoopsHype rumors. Throwing a chair or three.

Remember the locker room speech he gave when he was a Blazer? Was that during the playoffs?
