22 points 13 rebounds 6 assists 3 steals And Zero turnovers in 32 minutes Well played old chap, well played indeed.
He was FUCKING AWESOME. Those two alley-oop dunks.... And he would've got two more assists if Aldridge had managed not to (a) get stripped on the way to a wide open dunk, and (b) get his weak-ass shit blocked. He was... sublime. Now I have a reason to watch the last dregs of the season.
Exactly. Will and Nards both project to be good players, but both have a lot of work to do. Good news, so far both seem to really be working and improving.
I gave up on the game when we were 20 down and couldn't come up. So Barton got to play? Sounds like Aldridge alright. If ball bobbles were counted as turnovers, he'd have terrible box scores.
He's looked good every time I've seen him play, even when he's been bad. He's a natural baller, does a little bit of everything, and, so far, seems to try harder than most players. He's been my second favorite player on the Blazers for a couple months now.
This summer will be huge for Will. Players still improve the most from year one to year two. I don't put too much into summer league, but the rest of the summer he needs to work his ass off and get better
First rookie to put up those numbers since Grant Hill in 1995. If he keeps it up, maybe. He can win Rookie of the month!
'Where there's a Will, There's a way' Top notch game from Barton, I knew he had it in him. Great energy - and under control too! - 110% effort. I appreciate players of that ilk in todays NBA ( Hickson, Matthews & Lillard give good effort too) Will has great anticipation and could really teach Aldridge a thing or two about rebounding. Pleased with the teams ball movement without Aldridge in there too, much more enjoyable to watch.
Really Speed? You think Kobe would let Will do this again? What did Meyers have the game after his last double double?
Barton showed he has potential to be an impact player in the NBA, but if he wants to be a regular contributor he has to work on his perimeter game. If he were to get regular minutes, defenses would soon learn to sag off of him and deny him the ability to get to the rim. Adding 10-15 pounds of muscle would help a bunch, too.
I like his attitude. He just needs to keep working hard. http://video-embed.oregonlive.com/s...AAAAPmbRFdk~,-M7WdMAfPDpJcmiQvQlyrvWje5FxgQDH
