Anyone know why today is the only day (outside of the All-Star break) where you can not find a single NBA game being played?
Good enough reason I suppose. I don't recall this happening in the past though (not saying it didn't, I just wasn't paying attention if it did).
Ya pretty sure it's the case every year. I think last year was a exception because they squeezed 66 games into such few days.
There are never NBA games on championship night except for last year because of the shortened compacted schedule. Otherwise, it is the only night in the NBA season that there are no NBA games.
My feeble, vague, befuddled memory is whispering that long ago in the mists of time, there were NBA games the same night as the NCAA championship. I don't know when the world changed. The NIT championship used to be on national TV too, and I found it interesting, but the pundits kept ridiculing it till the networks gave in and dropped it. Can anyone make me a drink?
Yes. I've been working on a new cocktail called the 'LeMarcus': It's Texas tequila with a dash of Sloe gin, and an olive, not dunked but laid gently into the glass. When I pass it over the bar you drop it.
Then everyone standing around the bar sips some kool-aid and praises me for being the best lush in the league. I'm looking at you, Magnifier! Who gives a shit whether you're confused! You want me to jump up and down because you're confused? Keep your squirrely little fears to yourself!!
