Kobe has been a winner, broken records, has done many heroic plays and one a scoring title while wearing #8 . If Kobe continues his legacy, should both 24 and 8 be retired?

I too have been thinking about that. #8 is just too badass, #24 seems lame to me. Man, I say retire both, seeing as how this is kind of in the middle of his career.

I say whichever one he leaves more of a legacy with2 is just insane, unless of course if he ends up becoming the new GOAT

Unless he does make a bigger impact with #24, I think Kobe is synonomous with #8. It's just a number, but probably both if he does become the GOAT.

He's only going to retire one number. There's been other instances of players who have worn other numbers in sports and retired their best number. There's no 2 numbers.

Well to me right now I think he will do similar what he did with 8. But wont be just as 8. he has done so many wearing 8 so 8 deserves to be retired. Remember when MJ retired he had to wearr 45. It will be something like that he will retire the number he entered the NBA with.
