    He was famous for being radically ugly. He looked like he was shooting up. Now he's plump instead of emaciated. He lost the character lines in his face. He looks normal.

    This guy defined rock star for me when I was a kid. Now I don't think I would recognize him if I passed him on the street, and judging by his last album I dont think I would recognize him if he tried to sing again either.

    I was a huge fan of their early stuff. Use Your Illusion was one damned good album spread inexplicably over two discs and thinned out with horse shit, making it impossible to listen to at the time unless you had your finger on the "next" button on your CD player. It went downhill from there, with the exception of an epic version of Sympathy for the Devil

    The last album absolutely sucked, except for IRS. That song could have easily been on Appetite for Destruction. I'm always amazed at how overlooked that song is.
