Pretty OT here, but is Frye pretty much down for the count, or is there still a chance he'll really come back and play another season? I sorta assumed that he was done for.

We don't have enough cap space to trade Freeland for Frye and Gortat, and then also sign Webster to a market-value contract.

Interesting idea to trade #12 pick and Freeland for PHX's Gortat and Frye. Seems to work using our available cap space. We could also then sign Maynor to $3M small exception deal. But no other major free agents. Just minimum contracts.

    Lillard - Maynor
    Matthews - Barton
    Batum - Claver
    Aldridge - Frye
Gortat - Leonard To me this would be a successful summer of activity. It doesn't solve all the needs, but it does solidify the starters.

Where does this roster take us?

I don't think it really gets us anywhere long term, and for next season, 6, 7 seed at best? All we've done is swap Gortat for Hickson, which I like, but not enough off an offseason. I don't think to get Gortat in the last year of his deal, it should take a lotto pick AND taking on Frye.

12th pick, cap space, Wes Matthews for Larry Sanders, Monta Ellis and Drew Gooden.

I doubt they'd move Sanders for that.

    Me too.

Throw in Meyers and we may get their attention...

I think offloading Drew Gooden would be nice for them, though.

It wouldn't be all bad. I mean, that would make him like 5'11" so we'd have our backup PG situation resolved.

    Maybe 1st round and out?

Use the pick, I think they can get a good player at #12.....
