Well there is such a little amount of true stars and so many desperate teams. Someone will take the chance. Hell Cleavland is trying to sign Oden.

On bail-out passes at the end of the shot clock, mostly.

Brandon Roy is traveling with the Minnesota Timberwolves and still hopes to play at least one game this season.
BRoy just can't call it quits?

He would prefer to play at home against either the Phoenix Suns (April 13) or Utah Jazz (April 15). Roy has missed most of the season with knee issues.

"As for next season, apparently his contract with the Timberwolves is written in a way that he's not completely clear if he still will belong to Minnesota," writes Ric Bucher. "His agent and the players union, he said, will examine the language of it to determine whether he has the ability to be a free agent."

Good for him, hopefully that will keep us from retiring his number

Who said anything about retiring his number? That's ridiculous, If your going to retire Roys number why not retire Damon Stoudamires number as well?

This is what caught my eye. Kahn has no one on staff that can write up a non-guaranteed contract? They could've pulled Webster's from the safe and just changed the name and couple of numbers around.

    Nevermind.

How funny would it be if the 2nd year is guaranteed.

I wonder if the TWolves are getting ready to draft Kevin Ware in the draft?

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Damon was a very good, fast PG on the court. You just say that because of his problems off the court. If Damon never had those problems off the court he probably would have not only retired a Blazers he probably would have his number retired as well.

No. He wasn't a very good, fast PG on the court. he was a shoot happy SG who was tiny, didn't shoot that well and made a lot of bonehead decisions.

Even if he had retired a Blazer, his # wouldn't have been retired.

Well Damon was still the starting PG who led a team to the to the WCF twice.

That team made it that far in spite of Stoudemire, not because of him.

If we retire Damon's number, we should only retire 3/4 of his jersey, and sew on 1/4 of Greg Anthony's jersey to it.
