Truth be told, it's one thing to be an asshole coach at Rutgers with nobody who has a shot in the NBA. Try that shit with a one-and-done player, like Bryant would be these days, and you just may get punched.
Just empty noise. So easy to say what you would have done in a situation you were never in. Really, it's just an insult to those who were in that situation: "I would never let (abuse/rape/murder/Nazi Holocaust/whatever) happen to me, because I'm better than those victims!"
Was at the game early last night. Saw a commotion between Mike Rice and a obnoxious Laker fan with a afro wig of gold and purple. I was told by usher that the Laker fan was calling Rice out about his son (yelling and being over the top rude). Rice told the idiot to meet him up in the 300 level. Well that triggered security and things slowly died down. Laker fan then came over to where i was to watch a few Laker still doing shooting practice. he could just not shut up and talking about how he got over on security and LA style this and how bad ass he is. Anyways, if true, I like Rice's reaction to this idiot. Would of loved to see Rice take this dude down.
I bet Rice was already mic'd up for the game. They were probably laughing their asses off in the broadcast truck.
Not last night i didn't. There is this one big black guy who's a Laker fan who Rice get's into it with EVERY Laker game at the RG. Wonder if it was him?
Well this guy was a big black guy . . . wearing a huge yellow and purple afro wig and had all kinds of attitude. Any chance you can confirm or deny what the usher (Marlene) told me about Mike yelling at the guy to meet him at the 300 level? I do know security quickly came in because I watched that. So there was some incident going on.
