SEC Guy @secguy Yeah I told on tiger. So what! Fairs, fair. Bobby Jones woulda never tried that. Tiger is a wife adulterer and golf adulterer. Cheatin'
Actually, Tiger is 5 strokes off the lead with that assessed 2-stroke penalty. Man, Tim Clark is 5-under through 8 holes today! Now 3 just shots off the lead @ 3-under for the tournament thus far.
Nick Faldo is calling for Tiger to do the Manly thing and agree with him. Nic also says the rules are black and white. Hey Nic, that would include rule 33 too. Black and white. Meaning Tiger gets to stay.
I have an email from reliable sources connected to people who know some others who live next door to an individual associated with the Oregonian. So, I mean, wtf.
Dang, at this point, Snedeker looking mighty poised to take this thing. Tiger will need a miracle tomorrow.
Rules are rules, although I think the correct decision was made since the tournament officials reviewed the drop before Tiger signed his card and told him it was a legal drop. To DQ him after that would have been the wrong move. By the way ... who are these tattletales who watch golf tournaments and then even know the number to call to report a violation? It really doesn't seem fair, since not every shot by every player is televised during a tournament.
Apparently, many folks call the Masters "hotline" every year. Most of the calls fizzle into nothing. Obviously, that wasn't the case this year.
I still think it's not really fair, since not all players have their shots aired on TV. I mean, did you see Cabrera use the foot wedge on the 15th Thursday? Neither did I!
I'll tune in tomorrow with about an hour to go. I'm rooting for Couples. I've always liked that guy. Plus, he's a NW product.
I'll play golf whenever, but I can't even force myself to watch it unless there's absolutely nothing else to do or watch.
