Best film ever made in most anyplace. Supposedly a true story? Based upon some insane asylum in La Pine, eh?
My friends and I watched them film some of the movie at Sellwood Riverfront Park. I ended up watching the movie (as a youngster) with my uncles. My oh my those were some hot scenes for teenage boys!
I used to have to work at the Oregon State Hospital (where it was filmed) many years ago. That is one interesting place.
Another great movie with Jack Nicholson was filmed in Oregon. Parts of The Shining were filmed at Timberline Lodge.

Bandits (Bruce Willis, Billy Bob Thornton) was filmed in like Wilsonville, Aurora, Oregon City and California. Untraceable with Diane Lane was also filmed in Oregon.
Ice Cube made a movie in Oregon. A lot of Free Willy was filmed in Portland. With a little movie magic Oaks Park appears to be right next to the Ocean.
