    I grew up watching NFL games announced by Summerall and John Madden.

    Those were the days when either CBS or NBC had the double-header, depending on the weekend, and there were no Sunday night games, so it was always the tickticktick of 60 Minutes if the late game was CBS. Dick Enberg usually would do the NBC game with Charlie Jones, too, and it was typically either a game at Seattle, Denver, or Oakland in the afternoon if NBC had the late game.
