I really liked watching the Braves back in the 90s, but I was pretty much a sports nut back then and the Blazers were the only team that completely survived my ratcheting down of sports. It's taken me years to return to the Ducks and Niners, maybe one day I'll watch ATL again as well.
My uncle played for the Braves before it was cool playing for the Braves. His pitching coach was Bob Gibson and he couldn't stand him.
I just want to see improvement. He looked better last game than his first, IMO. Has to avoid the HRs. But having Beachy returning late June-ish is a huge boost. Also, have loved the impressive play of the bench guys so far. 3B platoon of Johnson and Francisco have both been really good. Gattis has been a great boost, and will be a more valuable bat off the bench when they can actually use him as a PH, but he's stolen the catcher job from Laird for the time being, it'd seem.
Well, it was a matter of time before they came tumbling back down to earth. It's a long (loong) season, thought.
11 straight. Running away with the division. However, playoffs are an entirely different matter. Just ask the Falcons. <sigh>
