Let's say on draft day, Alex Len is available at #10. A couple teams are interested in a trade for either the pick or Leonard. Which would you rather see the Blazers do, and which do you think the Blazers would do?
We need more blacks!!!!! Look at minny! They are walking wounded cause they are mostly white. We all know white people drink too much soda and smoke cigarettes. They will break down faster.
Is it just me or does Alex Len really look like Jonas Valanciunas (if he didn't have the beard going on)?
I think this is a good question. I have actually thought about it in the last couple of days. But i think it will come down to what the other teams wants. If we make a trade for a center in an unbalanced trade, will that team want a center back (Leonard- who makes much less money) or will they want our #10 so they can grab a different young center. (Or other position) So it comes down to who is better, Leonard.......or Len, Gobert, Olynyk, or Dieng (Maybe Zeller?) Tough call right now. I need to watch more videos, but I would lean towards keeping #10.
Len's probably got a better shot of being the center we need, so I'd trade Leonard (and whomever) else to get us a player that fills a hole in the starting lineup; whether that's a veteran defensive minded center or shooting guard, or whatever.
Basically I was getting at two different teams offering the same basic player. One wanted Leonard, the other wanted #10 and Len was available. Len appears to be a MUCH better defender.
Dieng coming out of college is probably a better defender, shot blocker, rebounder then Leonard will ever be. Leonard will likely be the better offensive player
