I just don't understand why that's on the front page of msn.com, near the top, just under the Boston coverage.

It shouldn't get that coverage, but the reason why is their show gets really good ratings. As much as people seem to hate them. a lot of people seem to watch them

I get that about the ratings, and I know it. But why? Why do people watch them? Why do people care? They're garbage.

I think people like to "escape" Live vicariously through people like the Kardashians.

The sex tape wasn't enough? I'd say that was the high point of them on camera.

Quit while you're ahead (I won't make the comment about Kim that I was going to, but you guys can figure it out), I always say.

Same reason anybody ever watches non-competition reality shows. Stupidity.

I guess there are just more stupid people than I realized in this country. I knew there were a lot when Dubya was re-elected, but a portion of that crowd is likely anti-Kardashian.

It's just impressionable minds, which there have always been, but now the media throws people like the Kardashians at them as examples to aspire to. The Kardashian's lives are what a lot of people consider freedom, or the American dream. To be rich, able to do what they want, and be hoisted above the rest of the people (on TV).

I know too many of these people.

It's no wonder I'm a homebody and pretty much just hole up at home in my free time.

Of course, a big screen TV, bar, BBQ, and pool table pretty much cover my necessities as it is.
