    I'm sure the Lakers are thinking the same thing. There is no way they're taking on more long term salary past 2014.

    As I think you have said in the past, Portland does not have a history of attracting high profile free agents. It may be fun to think about for a few minutes, but then reality sets in and the fun turns to frustration. We can't afford to take those drastic gambles.

    Yep. LAL will have one down year, then make out like the LAL with huge cap space, a bumper free agent class, and a strong draft (I'm only guessing they own their pick next year).
