Top female MMA fighters trying out for TUF 18 along with Couture's ex-wife

The UFC has only signed 10 female fighters to compete in their bantamweight division. There are many more competitors out there trying to work their way into the UFC and the upcoming mixed gender season of The Ultimate Fighter is one such avenue. Among the experienced fighters to attend were Tara LaRosa (21-3), Roxanne Modafferi (15-10), Shayna Balzer (15-8), Tonya Evinger (11-6), and Randy Couture's ex-wife Kim (who still goes by Couture) who is 3-7. Also in attendance was Revelina Berto (3-1), sister of boxing standout Andre Berto. Approximately 50 women were in attendance for the tryout (compared to over 200 men). TUF 18 is not expected to have qualification fights to enter the house so the best eight fighters of each gender will be selected by the UFC and FX, meaning the names listed above, with the possible exception of Couture, are likely to make the cut.
