As others have said- no reason to bid high on him if an amnesty is in his future. Seems like injuries really slowed him down into a plodding stiff. He was always kinda stiff, but also a commodity in that Boston needed him because their championship roads always ran through Dwight in Orlando and Bynum in LA (and maybe the tail end of Shaq in Miami too). Hes not totally useless, but hes become increasingly irrelevant as the league has continued to get smaller and faster.
If you can't be a positive addition to a team with Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook, I'm not sure how you'd expect him to be one with the makeup of this team. He's a mediocre move (no pun intended).
Mediocre Man, are you OK? The Lynyrd isn't sitting with teammates thread was odd enough, but you've been on a posting rampage today, and with just terrible, terrible ideas.
Well there's an understatement. It's probably the dumbest idea I've read on this board all season, and I'm baffled as to why someone would start a thread about it.
I was posting what someone else had tweeted. Literally nothing else. This gets us a defensive center and two highly touted college players for a one dimentional player and a pick in a so called weak draft
Why would anyone pay Kendrick Perkins ~$9.3m/year for the next few years. As already posted, OKC will likely just amnesty him, anyhow.
Nope, you just shit all over everyone else's instead of offering anything. Who would you like us to go after? Why? How could we get him? Anything?
LOL, I think I asked him the same question the other day and he did not like it - maybe he has no ideas
Interesting stat: Kendrick Perkins finished with a NEGATIVE PER in the playoffs. -0.7 = worst ever recorded among those who have played 200+ mins.
In fact he has the worst PER of players with at least 130 playoff minutes. (See MP toward the left side.) http://bkref.com/tiny/xRVAB In minutes per game, the only modern player with a worse PER and more minutes per game (MP on the right side) is Blazer ballshagger Hersey Hawkins. http://bkref.com/tiny/PXBCl Perkins leads the group by far in games started, 11. 2nd place is only 4. At least he has that to be proud of.
Suggesting such a scrub is the perfect example of desperation S2 has been showing for a center. Perk Kaman Gortat Pachulia JO KG R.Lopez JaVale Etc The Purgatory Blazers
Once again, says the guy that thought trading pick #11 last year for Joakim Noah, the perfect player for our team, was a bad idea.
