Its between Ray Allen/Dirk/Redd/Peja/Korver . I will ahve to say Dirk. Dirks edges ray allen like 9.5/10 to 9/10 to Ray allen
I say Peja. He is pretty much a catch-and-shoot player, but he shoots great. New Orleans/Oklahoma City will love his services.
Dirk/Peja/Ray/Micheal Redd....I can't really choose, each does it separetely.I'll tell you one thing, seeing that rainbow shot from a 7 foot Dirk, is a thing of beauty.
Redd has a really nice jumper.. Peja and Ray Ray can still hit it, and Dirk is probably the best. Other good shooters are:Rashard LewisGilbert ArenasJason TerrySteve NashRaja BellWally SczerbiakTracy McGrady Paul PierceMike Bibby
Horry is not the "best". I can name so many other people better than him. Peja was just able to hit all those 3s in Sacramento becuase of thier Kings Offense and was happy playing if Divac was there. Dont get me wrong hes a great shooter. But I think his shooting wont be as effective it was in Sacrmento ever again
zards, half those guys you mentioned shouldn't be discussed at all. It's between Dirk, Ray, and maybe Peja.

There are alot more players with more 3 pt makes and a higher 3pt percentage than Dirk.I think the candidates have to be:Mike JamesDirk NowitzkiChauncey BillupsKyle KorverRay AllenSteve NashRaja Bell, and Ben Gordon. The winner? Probably Ray Allen.
I dont agree with Mike James, he is a good shooter, but hes pct. doesnt compare to dirk or allen or redd....I think for 7 footer to be even mentioned in that group deserves a thumbs up.

Then how come his percentages are BETTER than both Dirk AND Ray Allen.Mike James: .442Dirk: .406Ray Allen: .412Someone just made themself look stupid
Ray Allen is still the champ when it comes to shooting, doesn't take bad shots like most SG's and hits from everywhere.

ok then. miscommunication.lmao that cb4 would put mike james in the same class as dirk and ray. forget the stats, do you honestly think that Mike James is even near those two?
Stats tell the story my friend. Yes, he is. I saw like 70 Raptor games last year, and Mike James is one of the elite shooters in the NBA. And I am not a Mike James fan, so you can take my word on it.BTW Mike James has the highest 3 pt percentage out of any player that has made over 87 3 pt makes, and Mike has 169, which ranks 11th.Mike James definately deserves a mention. I dont care what you think, bro.
to call someone a real shooter, the player should be able to make the shot with a hand on their face on a consistent basis...........that puts korver out of the equation, and give an advantage to dirk who shoots over people and ray allen who elevates every shot. making an open jump shot doesn't make u a shooter coz imo every guard, shooting guard and small forward in the NBA should make at least 75% of their open shots
Some Ray Allen mixesthis has some good shooting stuff, but layups and such toohttp://youtube.com/watch?v=VUel9Ohutw8Some individual treys by Ray. Here's his 42 points against the Suns in double OT including that crazy frickin 32 footer. Note that this was the same day Kobe scored 81.http://youtube.com/watch?v=A9aWEZxuNQwon an unrelated note, while searching for those videos, i found this allan ray clip where his eye pops outhttp://youtube.com/watch?v=8IGqim04eFM
I think if it's just shooting and not having a guy in your face, then Kyle Korver. But in a game, i think it's Ray Allen.

Kobe Bryant is the best "shooter". Your saying if they can hit a shot in your face that means guys like Kobe who do it all the time must be a shooter from what your telling me.

(i think he's one of the best) just bec he can do way more beside shooting doesn't make him less of a shooter.
