Number 6 is still my favorite... just how he uses The Force to shove Patty Cakes back. :ghoti:

Yeah thanks. That got me excited for next year. IMO we need one thing and one thing only to be a contender. And it's not a center. Don't get me wrong we need A center, just not a star center.

No what we need to be an elite team is a back court mate for Damian. Someone really good. If we can find that one SG (along with some big dude who can play some D in the middle and grab rebounds) then we are set.

"Build it and they will come". This is true for our bench.

The key to building it is getting that starting 5 first. Wes is fine but is not good enough. I want him on the bench to fill in for the 2/3. Our goal long term goal should be a stud SG. That one position will separate us from the others as long as we have Damian Lillard on this team.

Again....we just need one more prolific scorer in the back court who can also play D. Who is it?

I think we need to upgrade the center position and give this team a damn bench. If we'd had a bench I think we would have made the playoffs. Our core is actually pretty good, we just need much better support players and a better defense.

Don't worry about the bench. They will want to come here if we have a great starting 5. Look how easy it was for Miami to build a bench, and they had no money! Good players want to be part of a good team. Just get an exciting starting 5 first.

And after watching these playoffs I am convinced a really good sg guard is the key. Batum , LMA and a center can all play supportive roles to a dynamic back court. Plus if we get one, then our bench is already better with Wes being part of it.
