OK, was paying the upstairs renters $40 per month to piggyback off their system. I had HD, the sports package, the whole works. It was a sweet deal. Now that they've moved out, I have no desire to pay the full-bore Comcast rates. I opted to purchase a $30 HD indoor antenna. it picks up around 24 free stations.....probably about half of them worth a hoot. Anyway, that's how I'm gonna roll these next few months leading up to marriage next Spring.
Interestingly, she just asked me to "completely" take over her home finances. She said one thing she really "loves" about me is my good sense of frugality. Heh.
Moderation in everything, barfo......including moderation. She looks so fine in Victoria's Secret garb.
UPDATE: Bad news, good news.... Bad News: The relationship is off.....obviously, so is the Paris wedding. Good News: Just purchased the mini HDMI cable for the tablet. Don't know what I didn't do this earlier! :MARIS61: Meaning, using my parents' Comcast web account and streaming to my 50".... ESPN, CNN, PAC-12, and a few other live networks, plus all the older free stuff. Bottom Line: Good times can still be had!!
You dumped your lover and are now stealing Comcast signals. The more things change the more they stay they same... But, hey, you were born to play the field. I'm jealous.
Anchor woman just tried to call. I was afraid to pick up the phone. That was SO unlike me!! :MARIS61:
Nobody really cares what you do. Me, on the other hand? Dude, I live vicariously through myself! That, in and of itself, lends credence to every single one of my threads, and posts therein.
I just got rid of Cox down here in San Diego. For those of you who are cable free, do you use any of the streaming services? We bought a Roku 3 and signed up for Hulu Plus and already have Netflix. For anyone with a Roku, are any of the other pay channels worthwhile?
There are two ways to connect to ESPN live and each way uses different players. One is via Comcast and the other is via ESPN's website. Check both out. Also there is probably an android based app you can download and enter your Comcast account and password into.
