...should've won one or two rounds. Watching these playoffs, it's clear Nate fucked up. Felton, Crawford, Wallace, Aldridge, Camby, Matthews, Batum is a playoff team. Remember Barkley said we were the best team in the West early in year? We should've been. We have Lillard now and I've moved on but watching Felton and Crawford play well in the playoffs makes me realize something went amiss last year.
Of course. That's why I said "we have Lillard now and I've moved on." I'm just noting it as an epic failure by the coach and players.
And actually, we could've made playoffs and gotten Lillard. We still had talent after we traded Wallace for the pick. We didn't need to miss the playoffs to get Lillard. It was NJ's pick.
Most of the guys from that group that are now gone had no character, no backbone, no grit, no balls. They deliberately lost games, and it was painfully obvious. They should have been suspended for a year. We kept the winners, and I don't miss the rest one bit.
Dude, Felton destroyed that team. He was worse than awful. The Felton you see now didn't exist. Get the fuck over it.
Felton is the starting PG of a contender. Jamal Crawford is one of the best shotmakers on another contender.
It is not logical. You are saying that team should have been a playoff team with an offense led by a horrible point guard. That team did not have any point guard worth a shit. So, again, how SHOULD it have been a playoff team? The answer. It shouldn't have. There were too many holes and not enough talent. That Felton turned his career around with a dedicated off-season workout and weight loss program is irrelevant.
But Felton played well for New York before he came to us too. Before Denver, of course, where he also played decently.
Yeah, Felton's good play for the Knicks (he's their second-best player) is particularly galling. Of course, Jamal Crawford is playing well for the Clippers, too. Maybe it's because they're both being used much more as scorers. Felton is being played alongside another PG (Kidd/Prigioni) so he doesn't have to worry about running the team. Crawford, too. Or maybe they were just so embarrassed by their time in Portland that it shamed them into working out and working on their weaknesses?
Rasta, check out the Euroleague Final Four. In boldface are 3 former Blazers and 1 future one. http://www.ridiculousupside.com/201...khryapa-or-papanikolaou-leave-with-euroleague In that film, Papanikolaou plays like Freeland (who will become a decent sub).
