The good thing about jermaine is he can play pf too. So not only can he give us spot minutes at center, he can contribute at pf too. But if we are going to have a center by committee, I would much rather have dalembert as the starting center. He gives a good 15-20 minutes of solid defense and rebounding. Also makes room for more burn for Leonard; if we are looking to him to be our center of the future.
Great read. He shows a lot of wisdom and maturity. He would be a good vet to come off the bench and mentor Leonard. We need that defensive post player he talked about first though. After that, I'm all for bringing Jermaine back in that role.
On the flip side if you we are looking for Leonard to be our center of the future, wouldn't JO help Leonard develop more? IMO he would actually take Leonard under his wing. Dalembert seems like a malcontent everywhere he goes. Not sure he would. But in the end we need 3 big bodies in the middle not counting LMA.
Dalembert could be a locker room problem; but in all he's just a 20 minute player. That gives Leonard at least 20-25 minutes of development time. Oneal should play a little spot up minutes at center but be aldridges back up
We're talking about bringing back JO, but not having a need for Sheed? He'd unretire for the right price.
