Lakers have a shot at the 7th seed and a first round date with SA.

Its great, especially all the threads about trading Pau for a top lottery pick or all-star talent.

Hahahahaha yep. They're toast. Their only hope is to suck next year and get Andrew Wiggins. They actually think LeBron might come to the Lakers. Hilarious.

Did they legitimately think they had a shot against San Antonio?

I think even with Kobe they win at most 2 games. And I think I am being generous here.

Maybe the hopes and shattered dreams they had for this one season was somewhere near what we felt with the loss of the hope of Roy, Oden and Aldridge for seasons to come. Welcome to the real world and deal with it LA.

Kobe would have had to play out of his mind, and the Spurs would have had to lay a huge egg.

This wasn't even close though. They were completely dominated all four games.

The fans wanted San Antonio and believed they could beat them. After all, they beat the Spurs two weeks ago with Steve Blake running the show. They were so excited to get the 7th seed. The radio announcer John Ireland was celebrating the 7th seed like they had won the championship. So glad it's all over now. Time to focus on Houston becoming the first NBA team to come back from 0-3.

I listened for a couple of hours yesterday to the local shows. One of the reasons why it was so enjoyable was listening to the radio guys make excuses for not winning the 70 games (or close to it) this season like they predicted. Of course injuries were the main excuse, but a few guys admitted that when you build a team with aging players, injuries are more likely to occur. It should have been expected.

One fan was so distraught that his plan was to keep Earl Clark and get rid of everyone else. Very funny radio.

My laker friends won't even reply to my barrage of text messages. They spammed my phone when Howard went to Los Angeles. I had that saved and kept sending them the superman photo in a laker jersey. :)

It bothers me at times, how much joy we can get from another's suffering. But then I laugh because they're dirty L*kers fans!

Well no Lebron will almost certainly stay in Miami. But after next year the Lakers will have some major cap room and it will be one of if not the top FA destination. So yeah we can laugh at them for another year but then they'll probably get some crazy superteam with Kobe signing for the minimum along with a bunch of other unfair moves that teams like us could never pull off.

Who will sign there? Durant? I don't think so.

Oh boy. They're losing it. Already talking lottery. Apparently, they only get their pick if it's top 5. Here's to the Lakers finishing 6th!

I'm new to this containment board lol, fill me on the Lakersground joke. I know Lakers fans from the Kobe era (mid 2000's) were really annoying, but that was some time ago, and the last time they really had relevancy in the playoffs was Phil's last year in Los Angeles. So what's the deal?
