Awesome! So we get Jermaine for the worst years of his career, at the beginning at the end. I do believe he'd be a nice backup though. Too bad we are wasting 3 mil a year on Joel Freeland though.

17th pick as a 17 year old, 17-year vet. Roll the dice, Olshey, lucky seven[teen]s!

If I'm an NBA big man with knee problems, I don't think I choose Portland.

Crazy. He's been in the NBA for half his life. Kobe too.

If we first sign a starting caliber center, I'd welcome J.O. as our obligatory washed up veteran backup big man. He's a damn sight better than any big man we had coming off our bench last season, and he's as much as said he'd love to join the Blazers and mentor Leonard (who idolized him as a kid). Sign him up.

Something about the Grizz (probably Marc) must have gotten under JO's skin big time this year, because every time we'd play the Suns, he'd show up with 110% effort. Believe it or not, the Suns actually split the series with us this season, and it was largely due to O'Neal's play. In one loss in particular, he not only had a great game statistically, but he kept getting into it with Gasol, getting him frustrated and out of his game, and O'Neal eventually got Gasol to foul out, having only played 23 minutes... pretty uncharacteristic for Marc.

I'm not sure what to make of the way he'd just randomly get motivated to play us, but he looked like he still had left in the tank, even if that tank was running on fumes.

So he could teach all of our white guys how to play dirty and manipulate the opponent's mind.

I mean, all of our big guys.
