He said 100 over two games, not 100 in one game. It's still unlikely, but possible.

what a baby. He got cut because there was no need for him. Its that simple. And to make a rebutal saying "Im going to score 100 points in 2 games against each of the 2 teams" is very childish and uncalled for.

Re: Arenas Feeling Bitter Towards McMillan And D'Antoni

I think it's more of a goal then a grudge....wants to show D'antoni/Mcmillan that he could've done a good job on the team. STFU, ppl who are like "OMG HE'S SUCH A BABY OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG." all of you would probabely do the same team if u got cut from ur high-school teams, (which most of you probabely will).

I don't understand why he is bitter. I thought the team just sent him home because of an injury or something. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I think the coaching staff made the injury a excuse so they could cut him.

Re: Arenas Feeling Bitter Towards McMillan And D'Antoni

All Nba players have huge ego's!! Gilbert has a right to be hurt, who wouldn't? Now regardless of wether he said he'd score 100 on the 2 teams over 2 games is irrelevant. No-one thinks he will actually do this or even try for that matter, he will come out and be his usual aggressive self and try to help his team win.I think it ridiculas that he got cut but thats not for me to say. What I will say is that I hope Nate and D"Antoni stack thier defense against him in an effort to stop the aforementioned 50ppg and he picks them apart with assists. Can anyone name an NBA player who isn't a bit arrogant and immature? They ALL show signs of it occasionally.Give Gilbert a break.

He brings everything every night, and he has a great NBA arsenal of defense, scoring, shoooting, passing, rebounding, shot blocking, and stealing. He is a great NBA role player, and yeah, he is about as humble as you can get.Another example is Chris Bosh. He is a really humble dude.BTW: I think Arenas just ruined all his chances of getting to try out for the Olympic team.

If i do recall, he cussed out Darko and put his finger in his face for like no reason at all. Sure, he has done many great things on and off the court, but that is still immature...especially for a 75 year old.edit: spelling error

VC says way worse stuff than this guy and he gets so much more heat for a little comment, VC personally attacks players.

Re: Arenas Feeling Bitter Towards McMillan And D'Antoni

Chris Bosh is relatively mature.Besides one instance when he got a foul called against him on a completely terrible call. He got pissed and started swearing, and he got kicked out of the game. On his way out, he yelled swear words, and kicked trash cans. :lol:You've got to love Chris Bosh for that [IMG]
