That's why releasing oden was the best thing. His net per is worse than Nolan smith.

I'm skeptical that Davis will be the better player. I haven't watched him as much as I have Lillard, but I think Damian has a ton of upside. IMO, he's going to have multiple 25ppg-type years ahead of him. Davis will definitely have some great seasons, and maybe even be the best at his position in the league for a while.

I just think Lillard is in for a Derrick Rose kind of growth in the coming couple of years (hopefully without the injuries).

Your parenthetical "Barring Injury" is a HUGE caveat. Frankly, that's where the PER comparison really breaks down.

OK. Dominant big men are in shorter supply than dominant point guards. Davis may be the more valuable player in three years -- if he can stay healthy. Lillard is still the one and only sane choice for ROY, this year. Everything he said in response to the Davis issue is correct. Whattaya say we wait until Davis is the focal point of the other teams' defense, and see what his advanced stats look like while also leading the league in minutes, before annointing him though, OK?

Wait, I thought Davis' advanced stats factored in him being the focal point of the defense and leading the league in minutes??? I thought that was the whole point of advanced stats. :)
