I was saying all along that I wanted the Nuggets in round 1 and not the Spurs or Grizz. Clips I was ok with because we went 3-1 against them but I don't think we'd fare so well without David Lee. Nugz are a good team and I'm sure missing Gallo hurt, especially the missing outside shooting the first couple of games. But their record is inflated from their incredible homecourt advantage. I was saying all along to my friends we just had to steal one in Denver, and we did just that in game 2. Unsurprisingly, the Warriors did not lose at home, and that was it.

Yeah Bogut is absolutely the x factor right now. We went 1-3 against the Nuggets but I don't think Bogut played any of those games. This Warriors team went through a few stages this season where the identity of the team shifted. First they started out so-so with Rush and Bogut getting injured early and Klay struggling heavily. Then December rolls around and they get scorching hot with Ezeli starting at C and David Lee absolutely on fire. Then Jan-Feb they start to struggle, Lee comes back to earth but Klay and Curry are picking it up a little bit. Then post all-star break Curry absolutely goes the fugg off, Bogut comes back to mixed results but after enough time the team really jelled with him and learned how to use him on defense. That last stage was like a whole new team with a borderline legit superstar in Curry, Klay playing better, Lee taking more of a back seat, and Bogut holding down C which makes Ezeli shift to backup C and Landry off the bench and all of a sudden we're a big, physical, great rebounding team.

Godamn Draymond was good in this series. Guy is sort of like a glorified Matt Barnes. Good playoff role player. Rebounds like a madman, physical, wants to mentally fugg with the opposition, opportunistic scorer, intense as fuck. And that 3 pt shot is really coming around which makes him significantly more valuable. We'd be fugged without him.

As for the Spurs, I think they'll have more trouble containing Steph because they're not as long and athletic all around. Their bigs don't move so well so they won't be able to defend the pick and roll as well. This is also good news for Jarret Jack. Bogut defends Duncan fairly well, but Timmy's dialed back the clock. David Lee coming back could help, even if its only for limited minutes. We'll need his rebounding.

They're going to be sooooo frigging hard to stop on offense though. Much different from Denver. They've got so many shooters and then Parker and Ginobili seem relatively healthy. Klay usually defends Parker well but how does Curry hold up on Manu/Danny Green?

Refs are gonna drive me up a fucking wall. I'm trying to prepare for it. I think I need to watch all the games in public otherwise I'm going to lose it and break a bunch of shit in my house.

I think Iggy's value just plummeted.

thats what people thought about Gerald Wallace and Richard Jefferson. Both got big contracts well after their sell by date.

He was never gonna get the kind of deal he expected (50mil+), but he hasn't done anything in this playoffs to change the opinion people had of him last year.

If Gerald can squeeze out a 4/40 deal in a season with few suitors, I imagine Iggy can get around the same, probably more considering the high number of teams with capspace.

Exciting day of Game 6s. So low scoring so far. Both games. I can't wait for the Houston game. I'm sorry I'll mostly miss the Clippers game since they're on at the same time.

Jeff Pendergraph playing well for the Pacers. A nice block followed by a nice post move.

Wallace is on a team with an owner that's like how Paul Allen years ago. Denver lost in the first round and I doubt they offer anything more than he has already.

Also, Brooklyn wanted to go all in so Deron Williams didn't leave; so they needed to show him that they are building a team for him.

I didn't see other teams offering him anything substantial

I think Denver is in a tough spot with Iggy.

The team doesn't want to go backwards, if Iggy opt out and goes elsewhere the team takes a step backwards. They have some room under the cap to sign someone else, but not the full amount of Iggy's contract.

But if Denver decides to re-sign him, they will be over the cap and can't get anyone else to improve the team. It has to come through trades or whatever exceptions are out there.

I think Denver re-signs Iggy for a Wallace type deal. What other choices does Denver have?

This is freaking unreal. A 19-0 run in less than 3 minutes, and now Green shooting FTs!!!

Could be a 5 point game soon.

Unbelievable run by the Celtics. 20-0 made it a game. If they pull it off, most legendary game in Boston playoffs history. This is like Game 1 of GrizzClips last year but it's an elimination game.
