I think all plans for anything for this Labor Day weekend are cancelled here. We have some Tropical Storm moving through here now, winds are slowly picking up as the day goes on and it's raining non-stop. Winds expected to be up to 50 mph and 4-6 inches of rain today and tommorrow.
Friend has a party tonight, no booze, but he tore apart his deck for some bands to play. Then, nothing, but Tuesday I start school.

What are hurricanes actually like to be in ? If youve ever been caught in one or whatever ? That is if you ever have.

Last year was really bad because I think we broke the record of hurricanes. But basically, if it's a really bad storm, you get a lot of rain and wind. Tree branches/trees might fall down. Roof tiles will probably blow off. And if it's bad like last year was, I had my whole fence fall down and basically rip in half. Depending on what category storm it is, it might cause a lot of damage or it might just give you a little damage and lots of rain and wind. Also, you might lose power which is really bad if it's in the summer because you'll be out of electricity for at least a week or even more depending on where you live. And if you don't have a generator, you won't be watching tv or going on the computer for a while and the ac will be out. But if you are in a storm, please don't go out in it. A lot of people are always curious about what's going on outside but it's not safe out there...And for those of you who are experiencing Hurricane Ernesto and Hurricane John right now, I hope you all stay safe during these hurricanes.
