Being a Chicago fan, do you think your team would part with Noah? And if yes, what player(s), salary relief, or picks you think it takes? I think Noah is the best center for Portland. I just don't see Chicago even considering, but the owner is still a tight wad, so hopefully he's foolish enough to give him up for savings!!!!
There s no savings to be had without gutting the team. They want to amnesty Boozer which is $16M in relief, but they'd still be paying the LT. I'd think any player could be had for the right price. Deng and Noah for a signed DHoward is too good to pass up, IMO.
But Aldridge is the best PF in the game and the highest scoring big man in the league. And Matthews is very very good role player.
The Bulls are deep at PF. We'd have really poor rebounding. We'd either be playing Aldridge at C or Carlos Boozer. If we're forced to find an actual C, it'd be Nazr Mohammed. And I think the plan is to bring over Mirotic to play PF after next season.
