I think they are going to be looking more for defensive awareness and smarts as opposed to unharnessed athleticism. Hibbert, Chandler, Asik, Noah... these are much different types of centers than Jordan and McGee.

Well this front office regime has already tipped its hand on its interest in Hibbert, though that ship has now sailed.

Of the guys I listed, Asik is probably the only one attainable, and then only if the Rockets land Howard.

Oh I think Jordan could be available. Look at how much playing time he gets.

I would be very disappointed if we got Jordan. He's just not good. He can't be in at the end of games because of FT shooting. He doesn't do much well but dunk and Hickson could do that. He showed a little promise early in the season (against us) but it faded away. And he was useless in the playoffs. I'd rather have Leonard and Olynyk.

McGee, I like. He produces when he's in a game. He has lots of potential. Played well in various playoff games against Lakers last year and had at least one good playoff game this year.

Yeah. $11.25m/year for a guy who got abused by Marc Gasol and averaged 3ppg/6rpg in a series seems like a great deal!

Well in Jordan's defense, I think Jordan would do better playing with a guy like Aldridge that a player like Griffin by his side.

Best at turning over the ball when the season is on the line.

I would rather have Jordan than McGee. McGee has a very low basketball IQ. Sometimes players just need a change of scenery. McGee has already had that.

Karl sucks... That change wasn't for the better. Karl likes uptempo games. A shot blocking center isn't much to run up and down the court. Establish defense and have him block the skinny guards that were having field days on us in the paint.

I think we'll go after Dalembert if we're smart.

I'd be interested to see old rumors from the Clippers with Olshey at the helm, and see who he had targeted at the time, and if they are still possibilities.

Jordan can add interior defense and toughness. Also he has a shorter contract for a little less money per year than McGee.

I haven't studied either center, but McGee didn't start and didn't get a lot of minutes during the regular season while playing behind Koufos. Jordan started and averaged 24 mins a game on a deep Clipper team.

Nice having Olshey because he should know what you get and don't get with Jordan both on the court and off the court.

I think the Clippers either trade Jordan or Butler this summer so they can make a run at a big name vet free agent and then re-sign Paul . . . if that is allowed under the new CBA.
