I said Nate is their best guard all along, that we have a better chance with Kirk out, and that Belinelli should be our starting SG. And Butler basically has the same game as Deng.

That is the team that beat the Heat, and the Nets too.

Ho hum. Just another victory against overwhelming odds. I'm a little concerned that the heat won't offer enough resistance. Any way that we can make it just Nate and Noah against best 5 players in the league?

But seriously folks, this is getting pretty crazy.

I dont know what else to say. Robinson, Noah, Butler, and to a lesser extent Gibson would not let us lose.

Bad games by Boozer, Bellinelli, but Marco did hit some big shots down the stretch.

That game was a privilege to watch. I love this team so much. I don't care if we lose the next 3, I just want them to know we love them. The defense on display by Butler, and the scheming by Thibs has worked wonders. Derrick? We need you, man. We can do this.

Nate needs Thibs, and Thibs needs Nate. Awesome win.

Heat weaknesses at center and point play well into our hands. How will the heat adjust? Let Lebron be point, wade on Nate, and battier on jimmy/Marco?

I was thinking the same thing, GH.

The match ups are very favorable for us. Our best defenders basically guard their best players. Our best offensive players are tough for them to guard.

They had LeBron guarding Nate in Q4 and it didn't make a difference. When he guarded Rose two seasons ago, it shut us down. That's the value Belinelli brings. He had a ridiculously good Q4 for us.

It's really amazing that Jimmy plus the bigs behind him are playing Lebron almost to a standstill.

That Kool-Aid is looking might tempting and tasty right now.

Well, it's great while it lasts, but...

We did beat them first game in the ECF two seasons ago. It's hard to believe LeBron is going to lay down for us like he did in the 1st half.

I'm still pouring me a glass. I'll just look at it for now, and dream about drinking it.

On the other hand, Nate Robinson is the NBA's real MVP.

Yup. All the smart money is on the Heat taking this series in 5 or 6 games. Bulls just need to keep choppin' wood and see where it gets them.

In all honesty, what are the chances that Derrick Rose would be performing better than Nate has if he came back?

    Amen.

So far we're defying the wisdom of the basketball gods. It's been great for 8 games.

I'll believe we beat the Heat in a 7 game series when it happens, but I trust in the resolve and savvy of this team.

I think excellent, with a caveat.

The caveat is Belinelli at SG (Nate has that benefit!) and the offense isn't watch Rose create for himself.
