Twitter handle ~Vintage™~ @_Skandalouz_ States that Oregon offered, though I have no idea who this is.
USC got a commit from an at the time unranked DE, suddently a few days alter he is a 4-star 90 rating. We get a commit from an unranked player and few days later is usually a low 2-3 star like Pisarik.

5'9 175 speedburner Florida RB Tony James has named 5 early leaders, but the only one he says he knows he'll take an official visit in the fall to is UO. While thats probably mostly because of the distance and cost involved in coming out West, he's stated he wants to play in a spread offense that plays very fast... STOMP
the RB offers keep rolling out, the latest to a similar sized East Coast speedburner named Derrell Scott it may not be one of these two, but you've got to figure that someone pretty good is going to jump at the chance to be the next in line for the Tazer spot. I'm sure Coach Campbell points out to recruits that DeAnthony could declare after this season STOMP
fify at this point it seems the Ducks are the team to beat for the 6' 210lb Freeman (6'2 207lb Joe Mixon is a possibility too), so also adding a Tazer/speed type like James or Scott would really shore up the RB depth chart. The listed GPAs of these three (3.7, 3.0, 3.7 respectively) makes me happy. Btw, though Tony James doesn't have much in the way of video available for free that I could find/link in my two seconds of looking, the premium stuff I can access via rivals is very impressive. Like Scott, his reel is one long TD run after another where he never seems to get touched. Dude has both straight line speed and quick stutter steps/change of direction. Even in the tapes from the camps where he's matched up against other D1 prospects, his speed stands out above the rest. He'd be a major pull STOMP
That'd be great. Though tOSU will be ready to poach and do the same as Tosh and Sarkisian are doing ala spewing sanctions. So we have Jelks and some JUCO guy recieving interest for our D-line. What about others? Plus, what's the deal with Purcell?
Alabama RB Racean Thomas list the Ducks in his early top 4. He'll be visiting the state for the first time this summer attending The Opening STOMP
Purcell signed with the Eagles to try out on 90 man roster. http://www.philadelphiaeagles.com/n...-Purcell/5ac264ce-2637-41da-b59a-f7f6227ac9dc
Friekh out! Arizona OL Layth Friekh gets a Duck offer. He's spoken very highly about UO and Eugene... crossing my fingers on this one STOMP
Damn NCAA screwed him over. Heh. Nice pun. I can see why RichRod wants him. He's a perfect size for his offense.
Even with the USC offer Freeman still has Oregon/UCLA in top 2 New offers out LB Chase Winovich lb Jimmie Swain ol/C Bryce Holland
That's good to hear. He sees the RB depth at USC and doesn't want in. I think he will hold off until December though. Hope we can grab these kids, but Winovich looks like a Michigan lock.
Coach Lubick is on the East Coast recruiting his Duke stomping grounds. 247 & Scout are reporting NC WR Trevion Thompson received a Duck offer yesterday STOMP
Elite 11 QB camps are going on all over the country including in the Bay Area where Duck commit Morgan Mahalak is participating along with many other D1 prospects. Here's the review/ranking from 247 following Friday... 1. Morgan Mahalak, Greenbrae (Calif.) Marin Catholic The Oregon coaching staff has proven to have a fantastic eye for talent at the quarterback position but on Friday, it didn’t take an expert to recognize that Mahalak was elite. The 6-3, 190-pound Oregon commit was organized and efficient in his delivery and was one of the most comfortable quarterbacks at the event delivering the football outside the pocket. He showed plenty of arm and only got better as the day progressed. In a camp-closing pressure drill with the entire camp looking on, Mahalak had the best performance of the finalists. STOMP
