I think the apple engineers would have such a field day with integrating the apple way of life in the vehicles we drive! There was a hint from Tesla's CEO that they may have a tech giant buy them out. He said it would be one with a huge surplus of cash. If Apple does purchase "Tesla Motors"; it would be an amazing move.

Well, they should have made the purchase yesterday. Stock is up 26% right now after they reported their first quarter of profit and got a 99/100 score from Consumer Reports. My wife's high school friend works there. I'm sure he's going to be (or already is) loaded.
Yeah I was sooo wanting to purchase the Tesla shares about a week ago, but I put money on another stock. I looked today and said "Well shit, too late!"

There are already self driving google cars. It wouldn't be surprising if Apple said "nah uh! We want in on this too!!!"
