Bystanders chased a carjacking suspect and held him until police arrived Sunday morning, according to the Portland Police Bureau. The man is accused of stealing one car and carjacking another in Clackamas County. Police say he drove northbound on Interstate 205 and hit two cars as he took the exit toward Southeast Stark and Washington streets. The man got out of the car at Elmer's Restaurant at 9660 S.E. Stark St., police say. He threatened a man with a knife in the Elmer's parking lot, according to police, then dropped the knife and ran after seeing that the man he was threatening had a gun. Several people chased the suspect and restrained him until police arrived around 10:45 a.m. The suspect, whose name was not released, was taken to a Portland hospital. His injuries are believed to be from his two car crashes, police say. Portland Police and the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office are investigating. http://www.oregonlive.com/portland/...e_clackamas_county_carjac.html#incart_m-rpt-2

I wonder if the gun owner believes in god and is a republican? Wonder if they believe in global warming or abortion?
I'm glad he's alive to believe what he wants to believe, rather than dying in disbelief from a carjacker's knife. That's the point of this country, and the reason for the Second Amendment.
Ban all guns because they lead to murder! Crooks would never pull knives out if we got rid of guns. :MARIS61::MARIS61::MARIS61::MARIS61::MARIS61:
I am tired of this crime train I-205 brining criminals up from Clackamas County into my safe Multnomah county! :Maris61:
