Red Sox right fielder Shane Victorino was cleared to play, the team announced Monday, after tests on his ribs at Massachusetts General Hospital came back negative. He was sent to the hospital Sunday after slamming hard into the right-field wall during a 12-4 loss to the Toronto Blue Jays. Victorino said Sunday he expected to play in the team's next game -- Tuesday against Tampa but that was before he discovered how sore he was on Monday.
