Is a huge risk. But I feel we have to take a big risk to have a chance of getting to even a WCF's in the next 3 years.
If Olshey wants to gamble with his job. Cause if it pans out and Bynum's injuries are behind him, then Olshey will be a genius. If he gets another injury, Olshey will lose his job almost immediately.
If Bynum was one or the other: injury prone or a dick, I'd say go for it. Since he's both I'd say no.
Who would rather have Evans or Bynum? With Evans you have money left over and a young back court potentially for a long time. With Bynum you have an immediate higher ceiling.....but you know he will eventually get hurt again. I can't stand Bynum. He would be hard to root for. But a 2 year risk is not bad.
Nope. And I beat the crap out of Olshey if he does it. Bynum's a broke-dick jackass with delusions of Shaq-hood.
Bone bruises and damaged knee cartilage? I'd pass because of the nature of the injuries and his questionable work ethic to get back on court.
I'd need a much better understanding of Bynum's injuries to make a decision. However, I like the swinging for the fences approach. This team isn't going to get there with incremental improvements.
Bynum's ejection the Laker Elimination game vs. Dallas a few years ago tells you all you need to know about him. No thanks.
Absolutely. Good idea. Bynum is the best center in the league when healthy. Exactly. Gortat or Jordan or the like won't make us a contender. Bynum, if he got healthy, would instantly make us a contender. Instantly. You have to go for it. Seriously? We need a dick on our team. I'm not against that, but Bynum is a way better move. He's won two championships and last season, he was a beast. Oden hasn't played in four years and wasn't that consistent to begin with.
