Everyone typed Joel, but I typed Przybilla over and over and over. Now I'm psyched to type Papanikolokolus as long as this guy plays for us, all 4 months.
He speaks decent English:
I don't want to start a new thread, because I know most people don't give a shit about the Euroleague, but Olympiacos is in the process of totally demolishing heavily-favored CSKA Moscow. Sadly it's not primarily because of our man Kostas, because he was sitting while they built up their biggest lead. However, one of his teammates intrigues me greatly: Kyle Hines. He plays center at barely 6'6", which is ridiculous, except that Chuck Hayes does it, and Hines is very much in that mold: widebody with ridiculously long arms who plays GREAT D. I would certainly be interested in bringing him over. (I know people will assume that he would be lost in the NBA, like Freeland has been, but bear in mind that he's playing against Nenad Krstic, who was a serviceable NBA big, who would still be in the NBA if it weren't for the fact that he makes better money for CSKA, and Hines has thoroughly dominated him.)
Final boxscore. KP, a quiet game with only 5 points in under 15 mins. Hines was +18 in 20 minutes, with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
Link (anyone) to the interview of Oshley saying he wants to bring him over this summer??? Kid is getting some great experience Looked like a defensive battle against the Russian Powerhouse
Not especially amazing top 5 plays of the semifinals, but it's nice to see Sergio's epic beard:
"Papanikolaou on the move": Let the Spurs have Victor (who would work well in their system, I think) and we'll keep KP...
since we own KP's rights anyway, lets just make a "trade" with Olympiacos - KP for Freeland. That way it won't hurt our cap.
Spurs, Dallas, and the Knicks all interested? Not seeing how they will help us get what we need. I would like to trade him to a team ahead of us in the draft with the hope of moving up. I don't think we can get that much for him other than a few spots higher. Including him with our 10th pick for a center? Who needs two young players for one of their extra bigs?

http://espn.go.com/dallas/nba/story...r-plan-turn-dallas-mavericks-title-contenders One possibility to create cap room, Cuban acknowledged, would be for veteran forward Shawn Marion to exercise the early termination option for the last season of his contract and agree to return to Dallas on a long-term deal at a lower salary. Cuban said the Mavs also could end up trading the 13th overall pick or drafting a player "to stash overseas somewhere" to prevent the $1.66 million hold from counting against the team's salary cap. Makes you thing that our Greek has been discussed. Again #10 and #13 is intriguing for various reasons. Unless he is adamant about coming over this year.
