food that makes you comfortable aka it puts you to sleep because its so heavy and hearty. Meatloaf and mashed poatoes. fucking bomb diggy shit.
Wings... easy choice. Ching's or D'Bo's chicken wings... I make some good wings myself, but damn, there are some good wings in this city... Mr. P's a close third.
Lasagne is also something to knock you the fuck out. y'all. I made some a few weeks back with some of those hot giurdiano peppers they use on italian beef sandwhiches...such the bomb.
one of the great stoner foods of my college years was putting cream cheese and tuna fish in between two tortillas and frying it up in a little oil.....with some cheap fucking Old El Paso salsa.....was such the bomb.
Fuddruckers burger and fries...all drenched in that liquid cheese. and some ketchup. and mayo on the fries too
Anything from the lunchbox laboratory in Seattle. The best I've ever had. For you Seattlites, check it out!
That's what's up. Love the Mexican food. I'd be overweight if you could get good Mexican food in Memphis or Nola, but it's all shit around here... and all the chimi's around here are pan fried. Weak shit... On the Mexican tip, the dish that would rival chicken wings for me as the ultimate comfort food has to be chori-queso, queso flameado, or queso fundido (as far as I know, that's the same dish, but everywhere I go, they have a different way of saying it). Essentially some white queso and chorizo in a skillet, maybe with some peppers served with some tortillas. Greasy as all hell, but probably the appetizer that I'd order for my last meal of chicken wings.
One more mention of "the Bomb" and this thread is likely to get flagged by the Dept of Homeland Enslavement.
My wife makes killer mac n cheese, meatloaf, and banana bread. I've never had all 3 in one meal before, but now that I realize that it's only a matter of time. Her chicken pot pie is pretty good too.
