Yeah. Another good example would be Microsoft. The cost of the DVD and packaging is maybe $1. They sell the OS or Office for $hundreds.
We can make this entire thread come back to the NBA by then mentioning the markup of beer and food items at NBA games. I can buy a 6-pack of quality beer at a grocery store for the same price that I can buy a cup of crappy beer at the Rose Garden.
Here is an excellent recap of what small businesses are facing. http://reason.com/blog/2013/05/14/a-small-business-owner-explains-the-hard Many of your employers will be facing the same thing.
Employer mandate pushed back one year cause its soooo bad and the Dems want a good mid-term showout http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...ts-breathing-room-2014-midterm-elections.html
Wait. I thought everyone was going to love that legislation. That's some slimly politics right there. Go Blazers
I look forward to the quality healthcare I receive from our new insect overlords. http://www.forbes.com/sites/paulhsi...government-wants-to-redefine-the-word-cancer/
Why anybody would want the government, which we can all agree is corrupt regardless of your political leaning, involved in our health care is beyond me.
YEAH, YOU EVER HEARD OF THIS COUNTRY CALLED "SWITZERLAND". THEY HAVE UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE AND ITS MAGNIFICENT.
Oh my! You do know they have health insurance there and you are required to buy it? You also are required to own a gun. I suppose we could have done the same with a small constitutional amendment. That would have been far better than this abortion called Obama care. The swiss have just about the same tax rate as the US Federal tax which is a lot less than the US when you consider State Tax too. Then they did not add a tax on employers that provide healthcare for workers and dependents, nor did they add in a transaction value tax on the sale of property. They must have much smarter leadership, don't you think?
I say "No to snow", but a few interesting items 1. The burden of government spending is lower in Switzerland. According to OECD, the public sector consumes only 33.1 percent of economic output in Switzerland, compared to 41.1 percent of GDP in the United States. 2. Switzerland has genuine federalism, with the national government responsible for only about one-third of government spending. The United States used to be like that, but now more than two-thirds of government spending comes from Washington. 3. Because of a belief that individuals have a right to control information about their personal affairs, Switzerland has a strong human rights policy that protects financial privacy. In the United States, the government can look at your bank account and does not even need a search warrant. 4. Switzerland has a positive form of multiculturalism with people living together peacefully notwithstanding different languages and different religions. In the United States, by contrast, the government causes strife and resentment with a system of racial spoils. 5. Gun ownership is pervasive in Switzerland, and the Swiss people value this freedom. Moreover, how can one not admire a nation where all able-bodied males have fully automatic rifles in their homes? To be sure, the United States is very good by world standards in protecting this freedom, so the Swiss don’t really have an advantage on this issue, but it’s still worth mentioning.
Continue to educate my friend, these young fellows are going to need a lot of help if we continue to let them vote.
oh and I forgot one of the most telling facts. They speak four languages within that country at a minimum, Our kids struggle too attempt to master only one.
And the mask is beginning to slip off. Stupid peons. You just don't understand what is best for you, so your betters have to decide for you. http://dailysignal.com/2014/11/09/c...rchitect-admits-deceiving-americans-pass-law/ Note that Dr. Gruber goes out of his way to state that Obamacare was written to NOT be a tax. Chief Justice Roberts, are you listening?
He's talking about barfo. “Lack of transparency is a huge political advantage,” says the MIT economist who helped write Obamacare. “And basically, call it the stupidity of the American voter or whatever, but basically that was really, really critical for the thing to pass.”
forbes token lefty http://www.forbes.com/sites/rickung...t-and-you-wont-believe-whats-going-to-happen/ http://healthcare.mckinsey.com/site...OEP Emerging Trends - McK Reform Center_0.pdf bullshit?
65% of existing policies to see an increase in premiums greater than the rate of inflation (they say 4%). Good news! 4% of $1000/month is $40. Chump change. Here's a good link, too. Study: Pre-Obamacare Health Insurance Was Better Quality Than Exchange Plans
It was more than apparent that this sort of thinking was in action the whole time. What surprises the hell out of me is, we still have those among us that can't recognize the deceit even now. See the responses to your post!!!???
