Easily the best movie I've seen this year. Tye Sheridan, who plays the lead kid, is a complete bad ass. Star making for him. Seriously. Trust me. Go see it.

What do you know about acting?

I joke . . . you recommending a movie goes further than any other poster recommending a movie in my book.

I saw the film at the downtown Vancouver Regal. I really liked it as the film showed character development of the two teenage boys and McConaughey in Arkansas. The boys had more verbal lines than Reese Witherspoon by like 10x. It was a very believable film like it could happen down in your neighborhood. It was very lifelike and not just a hollywood flick built for entertainment with explosions, etc. I was very impressed with the film and my Fiance liked it too.
