It's official now. http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/421...s_david_wesley/ <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Press Release - The Cleveland Cavaliers have signed guard David Wesley to a contract, Cavaliers General Manager Danny Ferry announced today. Per team and league policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed. "David adds a wealth of experience and professionalism to our team,? Ferry said. ?His defense, shooting and toughness will add to areas that we want to continue to grow this year.?</div> Well, I'm not sure if he still has much to offer defensively anymore, but he is a solid player off the bench still. He is a good shooter, and Cleveland needs that. He's an upgrade over Damon Jones, if anything.
Damon jones was a huge dissapointment just like how swift was in houston. It would be better if damon jones got traded now that wesley is in cleveland.

Wesley could equal Lucious Harris in terms of this signing. As in the Harris who signed with Cavs a couple years ago, not what they bargained for with a aging shooter.
We pick up David and thats good for our BENCH.We needed a PG this hole season and we didn't get one, even tho we draft great we still needed a PG let's see how this season goes with Eric Snow starting still...
