Spurs or Grizzlies in 4,5,6, or 7 depending on who plays better defense or scores more points.

I will stand by the prediction that I made in one of the unofficial Memphis-SA threads, Spurs in 7.
I said 2 days ago I did not see where Memphis' point would come other than Zach. (Zach will score at home)

SA's 4th and 5th guys are a lot better IMO.

We really got knocked on our ass, but as long as we can make the adjustments to take game two, we'll be alright.

Something to keep in mind here, we've only won one "game one" in our franchise history. Even this year, we dropped the first two on the road versus LAC and the first one on the road to OKC.

This is where our team's experience and poise will come into play. I know we're playing maybe the most experienced and poised team of the modern era, but the point is that we're not going to let ourselves be rattled by a bad loss, like we might have in years past. There'll be some close battles in this series, and I can't imagine Z-Bo will come out as flat in game two.

Another thing to note is that the Grizzlies have always played like shit in early games. There's something to be said about being in basketball rhythm, and I've always complained about noon games, because I think it really throws our guys out of whack, yet we still wind up with all of these early Sat/Sun games.

I can see the home team winning every game in this series. I don't particularly care which way this one goes, as I like both teams. I guess I'd rather that MEM wins, as I think they've got the best chance of beating MIA (though still a long shot). But I've got such great respect for Pops/Duncan that I can never root against them (except when we're playing them).
Either MEM in 6 or SAN in 7 - or at least that's how I want it to play out.

Please explain to NOVoodoo that the game wasn't at noon. It was at 2:30pm in SA. 3:30 Memphis time.

The NBA has rigged the WCF to go 7 games while the ECF will be over in 4.

Spurs in 4. Yawn. Worst WCF ever. Grizzlies don't deserve to be here.

You lost your prediction credibility when you hitched your wagon to Raymond Felton's star.

It's not Felton's fault his teammates didn't show up to play.

His shoulder-high dribbling confuses his teammates and throws them off their game. Offensive scheme timing was thrown off because they kept expecting him to dribble off his foot.
