Don't forget Abrines. When given actual playing time he has really produced.

Interesting -- Nate Wolters toyed around with most of the PG's at the combine on a very sore hip.

The biggest sleepers in this draft - Wolters and Larkin.

DraftExpress has us taking him in the 2nd round:

He's got handles. I'd spend a 2nd rounder on him.

I'm firmly on the Oladipo Bandwagon, but I don't think we'll be able to get them.

Year after year people talk about how crappy of a draft it is, but GMs almost never trade down
    or out of it.

Can we do a sign and trade with Hickson to package him with the #10 to move up? Say to PHX's pick? Is that a realistic scenario?

I think you can, but you'd likely have to pick up salary back (not required, but they would probably want to dump). I still like the idea of trying to get Gortat and #3 from them for #10 + something (Hickson+). I'm just not sure how much we would have to give up.

No, because he can't be signed and traded until July, after the draft. So we'd have to have them pick for us, us pick for them, and THEN still hope that JJ wants to go there for the right amount. Those deals generally do not happen.

Their mock seems off this season. WTH would we want this guy? He looks slow, unathletic, the list goes on. I do think however the faces he makes are hilarious! :rotfl:

I read their "weaknesses" for Shabazz and I come away thinking "Yeah that's not good". So I see how he dropped.

Then I read the weaknesses for Otto Porter, and I think why the fuck is he #3?

    http://www.nbadraft.net/players/otto-porter

Weaknesses: Smooth run/jump athlete but missing the trademark explosion of a lottery talent. The power quotient is noticeably absent as well. While muscle definition is more noticeable, he has not added substantial bulk in his two years (from 200 to 205). It appears he has the broad shoulders to support more weight. He lacks the tools to impose his will on the game. Has difficulty creating clean looks for himself- off the dribble creativity is elementary and he’s more slippery/slithery than quick. Aptitude shooting off the bounce is often condensed to 1 or 2 dribbles, doesn’t rise up and elevate off hard drives. Not a consistent breakdown candidate, dependent on another playmaker or garbage buckets in the half court. Limited albeit diverse role player. Porter was utilized as a “pick and pop” threat just three times all season, failing to showcase potentially his greatest attribute as an undersized 4. His jump shot mechanics are awkward with elbows out and funky sidespin rotation. To his credit, he’s made it work a la Shawn Marion. Top-notch defender in all situations that don’t require side to side movement in open space. There are clear shortcomings in the lateral quickness department, which he masks with makeup speed and length.

Listening to Chad Ford and the reason why Saric is rising is because of his feel for the game that is "comparable with Chris Paul" -- calling it off the charts.

But his athleticism is clearly below average. He'll probably will have to move to PF.

D'oh! Both of those should have been included. Abrines is a sleeper - he could be the Spanish Evan Fournier. And he actually got minutes for Barcelona!

I also forgot about Len. Wow, this draft might have half the first round be non-US.

Re: Saric: this site has him ranked ahead of Mirotic (not to mention Fournier, Gobert and Schroeder), while 3 years younger, and behind only Valanciunas and Kanter. I agree that he doesn't immediately strike one as an NBA player. Reminds me a bit of Viktor Khryapa, slow feet and all.
