I have no idea if the story will turn out to be true, but if it is, then everyone involved has some explaining to do. It could also go a long way to explaining why help was denied these people. http://pjmedia.com/rogerlsimon/2013...stating-to-clinton-and-obama/?singlepage=true Money quote:
I haven't followed the latest scandals very closely (IRS, AP phone records, and Benghazi) but it seems to me that every time there's any movement towards Mrs. Clinton in the Benghazi investigation, the press finds some excuse to bang the other two drums more aggressively. How likely is it that some in the press corps are actively trying to protect her ability to run in 2016?
Help was offered, and turned down by Ambassador/CIA agent Stevens. http://www.mcclatchydc.com/2013/05/14/191235/amb-stevens-twice-said-no-to-military.html#.UZvQMEqC2I8
Military help was offered, not State Department security. The Clinton State Department ignored repeated requests for additional security.
I don't care what the specifics are. I've also heard a rumor that we were arming the Syrian rebels. However, if it was something the Administration wanted to keep quiet for political reasons, and therefore didn't provide sufficient security or tried to rescue these people, then someone needs to go to jail. People died. People serving our country. They deserved better from our government than to be abandoned.
"Culture of Corruption" Raymond Maxwell, who spent time in Iraq and Syria as well as a Marine, isn't a willing scapegoat. I applaud this brave American for trying to tell us all about the deceit and corruption at the core of the Obama/Clinton Machine. http://www.thedailybeast.com/articl...-hillary-s-benghazi-scapegoat-speaks-out.html
Your link, if you read the entire article, pretty much says he didn't perform his duties and ignored intel reports on security issues. Seems he was a big part of the problem and is lucky he wasn't still a marine. He'd be in Leavenworth for dereliction of duty.
