How many Duke combo-guards do we have to try before we learn our lesson?

Draft him in the 2nd round and watch him rain in 3's

Follow the NBA bloodlines on this one. Curry's are elite shooters.

He could play a Danny Green role

Shabazz seems like more and more of a reality these days

It really doesn't excite me all that much, though.

I doubt we draft Shabazz. However, I would rather draft a wing/SG more than another center. Id rather find center help through trade or free agency.

The one thing that no one disputes is Shabazz' work ethic. Everyone of these players in this draft has to work their asses off to get better. None of them are good enough now to be a starter. So from a glass half full perspective........maybe Shabazz could turn out to be a good pick.

I've been going back and doing some reading on Shabazz to remember the hype he once had. Consider this:

    He dominated his peers.

Also, it's hard to account for the UCLA factor with Shabazz. Is it real or not?

People like to bring up Westbrook, and rightfully so. The guy that has really surprised me at the NBA level from UCLA is Aaron Afflalo. He's been a really solid player the past 2-3 years.

Im not really opposed to drafting Shabazz, I think he could fit in nicely with Lillard. I like his potential, but he could also just be like an OJ Mayo. I just don't want to draft a center after we just drafted one last year. I'm not fully behind Leonard yet, but drafting another center doesn't send him positive messages

is their a position available that would not send the same message? We need depth at every position. We can't worry about who becomes insecure.

Ben Howland had a team with Kevin Love, Darren Collison, Russell Westbrook, Luc Mbah a Moute, and Josh Shipp starting, and they played a slowdown game that lost in the NCAA semis to a Memphis team with on legitimate NBA player 78-63.

Ben Howland sucked as a coach at UCLA.

Jonathan Givony on Twitter was talking to someone on Twitter about how Orlando at 2 could take Burke if they really liked him. That would cause McLemore and Oladipo to drop a bit, i wonder if that would help in us trying to trade up for Oladipo?

Ford's latest mock has Gobert and Olynyk dropping considerably.

Larkin's elite speed and court-vision has him on the rise. No longer the late first steal I had hoped for.

He thinks Saric has a real chance going #10.

At first his insane measurements clouded my judgment but his mobility is well below average. He suffers from clunky feet. Seriously has that Nedzad Sinanovic-like lateral movement.

I've only seen his highlight video, he's a good shot-blocker, dunker and surprisingly, good at making all kinds of tip-ins around the basket.

Analysis: It's difficult to tell whether Gobert's surprise appearance at the combine helped or hurt his draft stock. His standing reach of 9-foot-7 was the longest ever recorded at the combine. It's pretty easy to see what a player with his length could do to protect them rim. However, Gobert seemed a bit out of shape and his athleticism actually ranked dead last at the combine. While it is possible Gobert could go considerably higher than this, there also are a lot of scouts who think he's grossly overrated as a prospect and actually like Brazilian Lucas Noguiera better. We're splitting the difference here at No. 19, but it's very possible that Noguiera could be the pick for Cleveland instead." - Ford

I didn't even read it, I'll read your own analysis after you watch his video.

    Ouch!

Ford has moved Jeff Withey over Olynyk in his top-100.

Did Kelly piss in his Cheerios or something?
